Dawid Stander returns to Bokoni

Joint venture partners Anooraq and Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) on Wednesday appointed Dawid Stander as MD of Bokoni Platinum Mines, effective February 1. Stander, who was working as an independent consultant for the past two years, increased production at the Bokoni mine from 100 000 PGM ounces to 200 000 PGM ounces during his term as GM from 2001 to 2005.
