Platinum Australia submits mining application for Rooderand

South Africa-focused Platinum Australia on Thursday reported that it was one step closer to obtaining a mining right for its Rooderand joint venture (JV) after its partner Alta Mining Resources submitted the mining right application. The mining right application would now be forwarded to the Mineral Resources Minister for consideration, and pending satisfaction by Alta of certain conditions including the submission of a scoping report, the conducting of an environmental impact assessment and the submission of an environmental management programme, as well as consultation with interested parties.
